The Website Pages page is your go-to space for managing all the web pages associated with your group. Whether you’re adding, viewing, or removing pages, this feature ensures your group stays up-to-date with the latest content tracked through your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) account.
Navigating To The Website Pages Page
To start, head over to the group you want to manage and click on the Components tab.
Once there, select Website Pages in the sub-menu. This action will take you to the "Associated Website Pages" page, where all the web pages linked to your GA4 account are displayed.
Viewing Website Pages
When you arrive at the Website Pages page, you’ll see a table listing all the associated pages in your Group. This table provides an overview of each page’s URL and key metrics, such as views, users, average engagement time, and total revenue, giving you insight into how each page is performing.
Important Note: If your GA4 account linked to the Campaign Group contains multiple properties, each Group can only display pages from one property at a time.
If you later decide to add pages from a different GA4 property, you’ll need to first remove all previously associated pages in the Group. Once cleared, you can select the new property and choose pages from it. This ensures that all pages within a Group come from a single GA4 property.
However, you may encounter different scenarios when viewing website pages.
No GA4 Account Connected
If your group does not yet have a GA4 account connected, you’ll see a message prompting you to link your Google Analytics account.
Click the hyperlink to navigate directly to the setup page, where you can connect your GA4 account.
GA4 Account Connected But No Linked Pages
If your GA4 account is connected but no website pages are linked, the system will notify you that there are no linked pages.
A hyperlink will be provided, allowing you to quickly access the Add Website Pages setup where you can select and associate pages with your group.
GA4 Connection Expired
If your GA4 connection has expired, a warning message will appear, prompting you to reconnect. Click the provided link to fix the issue and restore access to your website data.
In all these cases, the Website Pages page ensures you have clear guidance on what action to take, keeping your data accurate and up-to-date.
Adding Website Pages
Adding a new page to your group is straightforward. Click the "+ Add Page" button located at the top right of the Website Pages table.
A window will open, displaying all available pages from your GA4 account that are not yet linked to your group.
In this window, you can select multiple pages using the checkboxes next to each URL. You can also use the search bar to filter pages by typing in the URL or a keyword. To quickly manage a large number of pages, use the "Select All" option to choose all available pages at once or "Clear All" to deselect everything.
Once you’ve made your selections, click "Confirm" to add the pages to your group. All selected pages will be instantly linked, and the data will update in the table.
If you decide not to make any changes, simply click Dismiss to close the window and return to the main page.
Removing Website Pages
Need to remove a page? No problem. Simply locate the page in the table and click the "Remove Page" button next to it.
A confirmation popup will appear, requiring you to type “CONFIRM” to proceed. This ensures you don’t accidentally remove critical data.
To remove multiple pages at once, select the desired pages using the checkboxes.
Once you’ve selected more than one page, the "Remove Website Pages" button will appear at the top of the table. Click this button, and a popup will guide you through the removal process.
After you type “CONFIRM,” all selected pages will be disassociated from the group. If you want to associate them again, you can always re-add the pages later.
Searching & Filtering Website Pages
Looking for a specific page? The search bar at the top of the table allows you to quickly locate specific pages by typing in a part of the URL or keyword.
As you type, the table dynamically updates to display only the pages matching your input. If no matches are found, you’ll see a “No Results Found” message, indicating that the searched page isn’t available in your current group.
