Ready to tailor your marketing for the perfect audience? Let’s say you’re creating a Group for “Holiday Shoppers” in Grower. With the Group Personas feature, you can easily add, associate, or update personas that fit this specific group — like “Budget-Conscious Buyers” or “Luxury Gift Seekers.” By aligning the right personas with your Group, you ensure every campaign speaks directly to your target audience, maximizing impact and results.
This guide will show you how to seamlessly manage personas within your Group, keeping your strategy sharp and your campaigns relevant.
Navigating To The Personas Page
Ready to manage personas within your group? Begin by accessing the Components tab in the navigation bar of your group.
Once clicked, a sub-navigation bar appears — select the Personas tab, and you'll land on the Personas page, designed for an easy and intuitive experience.
Viewing Associated Personas
When you reach the Personas page, you’ll find all your personas that are connected to your Groups arranged in a visually engaging grid layout.
Each persona card provides essential details, including the persona’s name, job title, age range, and location. You’ll also notice a picture of the persona or a placeholder image if none is provided.
Want to learn more? Simply click the "View Details" button to dive into the persona’s specifics.
Adding A New Persona
Expanding your persona list is easy! Whether you want to bring in existing personas or create new ones from scratch, Grower gives you the flexibility to tailor your Group to your exact needs. Here’s how to do it!
Simply click the “+ Add Persona” button. If no personas are currently associated, you’ll see an "Add Buyer Persona" button, which you can also use to get started.
Use Existing Personas
If you already have personas in your campaign group, importing them into your Group is a breeze. Simply choose the "Use Existing Personas" option.
This will open a window displaying a list of personas available within your campaign group, ensuring you can maintain consistency across your strategies.
Browse through the list to find personas that align with your Group’s needs — perhaps you’re looking for something like “Budget-Conscious Buyers” for your holiday shopper Group.
The window allows you to filter and search for specific personas based on attributes like job title, age range, or location, making it quick and efficient to locate the perfect fit.
Once you’ve made your selections, simply click the “Add Selected” button at the bottom.
A confirmation popup will appear — if you click “Confirm,” the chosen personas will be instantly integrated into your Group, ready to enhance your campaigns.
Create New Persona
Looking to craft a persona that’s perfectly tailored to their Group? Start by clicking the "Create New Persona" option.
This opens up a comprehensive, customizable experience where you can craft a persona perfectly suited for your Group. You’ll have two pathways: AI Optimized Persona or Manual Persona.
If you choose AI Optimized Persona, the platform leverages AI to suggest persona attributes based on best practices and data, providing a quick and adaptive solution.
This option is ideal if you prefer a streamlined, data-driven approach that evolves with your strategy.
On the other hand, Manual Persona allows you full creative control.
You can build every aspect of the persona, including details like job title, age range, location, and specific traits or preferences, ensuring it aligns perfectly with your campaign’s goals.
After selecting your method, the platform guides you through a user-friendly process where you can fill out all necessary fields, including optional visual elements like profile pictures or icons to bring your persona to life.
Once everything is set, hit the “Create” button. Your newly crafted persona will be added to your Group and synced automatically with your campaign group, ensuring everything stays cohesive and consistent across your marketing efforts!
Removing A Persona
Need to adjust your Group’s personas as strategies evolve? Removing a persona is just as straightforward as adding one. If you find that a persona no longer aligns with your Group's needs — perhaps “Luxury Gift Seekers” isn’t relevant anymore for your current campaign — you can easily remove it.
Start by finding the persona you wish to remove in the Personas page. Click the “Remove” button displayed on the persona card. This action triggers a confirmation popup to ensure that you’re certain about this change.
If you’re sure, type "CONFIRM" in the designated field to proceed. This extra step helps prevent accidental removals.
Once confirmed, the platform immediately updates your Group to keep your personas list relevant and focused on current goals. Rest assured, removing a persona from your Group will not delete it from the Campaign Group — it will still be accessible for other Groups or future campaigns.
However, if you want to delete a persona from the organization entirely, you’ll need to do so from the Campaign Group Personas page.
If you change your mind or clicked the remove button by mistake, simply click "Cancel" to keep the persona associated with your Group.
Filtering & Sorting Personas
Easily find the personas you need by using the search bar conveniently located at the top of the Personas page.
Just start typing a name, job title, or any other key detail, and the platform will instantly filter the results, showing only the most relevant personas that match your criteria. It’s a quick and efficient way to navigate your persona library without scrolling through the entire list.
For further organization, you can also sort your personas by criteria like Alphabetically, Created Date, or Last Updated Date.
This sorting feature allows you to arrange your personas in a way that best fits your workflow — whether you want to see the most recently added personas at the top or find them alphabetically for faster access. The platform’s dynamic filtering and sorting options give you total control, ensuring that managing your personas is always a seamless experience.
