- Once both fields are filled, click Confirm to establish the connection.
Note: Unlike other platforms, Adjust does not use Single Sign-On (SSO). Access is authenticated via your personal API token directly.
Adding An Account To A Connection
Once your connection is created, it will appear under the channel type you've chosen.
To start syncing data, you’ll need to link an account to this connection. Click on the "+ Add Account" button displayed under the connection. This will bring up a list of all the business accounts associated with the email address used for the connection. Simply select the account you’d like to add, and Grower will begin syncing data from that account into the platform.
After completing this step, your connection and account will be fully linked to Grower, making it ready for use. All data from this account will now flow seamlessly into Grower for analysis and reporting.
Revoking (Deleting) A Connection
If you no longer need a connection, you can remove it, but only after all accounts associated with that connection have been deleted, ensuring no accidental disruptions to active data or campaigns.
Associating Channels To Campaign Groups
Channels in Grower act as connectors, linking your marketing accounts to the platform and enabling you to track key performance metrics. They help ensure your campaigns stay on track to meet your marketing goals by providing a centralized view of your data.
To start tracking your data, you must associate at least one channel with your Campaign Group. Grower allows you to add multiple channels to a Campaign Group for comprehensive data tracking. However, each Campaign Group can include only one account per channel type. For example, if your organization has two Google Ads accounts linked and two Campaign Groups, you can add one Google Ads account to Campaign Group 1 and a different Google Ads account to Campaign Group 2, but not both accounts to the same Campaign Group.
You can associate channels with a Campaign Group during its creation or at a later stage. When creating a Campaign Group, you must link at least one channel to proceed. If you choose to add channels later, you can manage them easily from the settings menu within the Campaign Group.
For instructions on managing Campaign Groups, refer to our Campaign Group Guide.
Accessing Channels
To access the list of channels associated within your selected Campaign Group, simply click or hover over the settings button next to the Campaign Group navigation bar and select "Manage Channels".
Adding A Channel
Once within the Manage Channels page, you will see a "+ Link New Channel" button on the top right corner, once clicked, you will be prompted to select the channel and then the account you want to associate with this campaign group.
Grower will display a list of connections that are currently available and belong to the channel type you have chosen. Simply select an account associated with the connection.
Once done, the channel will be added to your Campaign Group, and Grower will start syncing its data!
Editing & Deleting A Channel
You can edit or delete a channel by simply clicking on their respective icons. Editing a channel will allow you to modify its name or swap its connections. It is best to avoid deleting a channel, as this distorts the data collection when it becomes a recurring action.
If you choose to delete a channel, it’s essential to understand the impact this action will have on associated Groups and Campaign Groups. When you delete a channel, all campaigns from that channel linked to any existing Groups or Campaign Groups will also be deleted. This includes campaigns organized under any Group that has inherited this channel, ensuring that your data structure remains consistent.
A warning message will pop up if the channel is tied to any active campaigns, giving you the option to proceed or cancel. This message will let you know that all related campaigns will be removed from the associated Groups and Campaign Groups if you choose to go ahead.
Note that your ability to make actions is based on your assigned user role and permissions. For more information on roles and permissions just click on the corresponding link.
Syncing Channel Data
If synchronization fails, your connection will display one of two statuses:
- Expired: The connection token has timed out. Click Sync Now to re-authenticate and resume data syncing.
- Failed: The connection encountered an error. Click Reconnect to go through the authorization flow again for that platform.
Both options are accessible from Manage Channels. Once resolved, Grower will resume syncing data automatically.
By managing your channels effectively, you maintain accurate insights for all your marketing activities!
