This guide explains how to export campaign data for analysis and reporting. It covers using the data export feature in the Performance and Reporting pages to download files in .csv or .xlsx formats. Filters ensure tailored exports, and future updates will include PDF support for streamlined reporting.
The ability to export data at the campaign group level empowers you to unlock actionable insights with ease. By exporting data, you can efficiently analyze trends, compare performance metrics, and share results with your team or stakeholders. This feature simplifies the process of organizing your findings, enabling you to focus on optimizing campaign outcomes and driving better performance.
Where To Find The Export Feature
The data export feature is designed for convenience and is located in specific sections across the platform. To use this feature, you will first need to be within a Campaign Group.
For the time being, the data export feature is located on two pages. At the Campaign Group level, it is available on the Performance page, where you’ll find the “Export Data” button in both the Channel Leaderboards section and the Channels Performance section.
For Group-level exports, navigate to the Reporting page, where the button is available in the Power Rankings section and the Campaigns Performance section.
We are also working on expanding the export feature to more sections throughout the platform to enhance your experience.
What The Exported Data Includes
The data export includes key details across all sections where the feature is available. In all cases, your exported file will include the Organization Name, Campaign Group Name, Start and End Dates.
If you are exporting data from the Channels Leaderboards or Channels Performance sections, the file will also include the Channel Type and Level (e.g. campaigns, ad groups, ads, etc.).
If you are exporting data from the Group level, such as in the Power Rankings or Campaigns Performance sections, the Group Name will also be provided.
All exported data will respect the filters you’ve applied, allowing you to tailor your download to your specific needs. In sections like Channels Performance and Campaigns Performance, where tables use pagination, the export will include data from all pages, ensuring nothing is left behind.
To export, click on the "Export Data" button. You can export the data in two ways: as a .csv file or as an .xlsx file. Clicking or hovering over the button will display two dropdown options: "Export .csv" and "Export .xlsx". You can choose the format that works best for your analysis tools.
We are also actively working on introducing the option to export data as a PDF soon.
